DAY 1 THURSDAY NOV 20 DEPART ATLANTA to AMSTERDAM

Meet and greet 3:30 PM at Amsterdam departure gate at the International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. Flight departs at 5:05 PM on Delta/KLM Airlines flight # DL72 to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

DAY 2 FRIDAY NOV 21 AMSTERDAM to KILIMANJARO & ARUSHA TANZANIA

Arrive at 7.55 AM at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Meet and greet 8:15 AM at Tanzania departure gate in Amsterdam Airport. Flight departs at 9:55 AM on KLM Airlines flight # DL9244 to Kilimanjaro Airport, Tanzania and arrive at 8.40 PM. Transfer for a 1-hour drive to Arusha to get settled for the journey. DAY 3 SATURDAY NOV 22 MAASAI ARTS CENTER- ARUSHA DECLARATION - NATURAL MUSEUM – United African Alliance Community Center with Pete & Charlotte O'neal

9 AM departure for city tour. Shopping at Maasai Arts and Craft Center. Tour the Arusha Declaration Museum, which is located in Northern Arusha along Kaloleni Street. It houses exhibits that display the policy of self-reliance, the struggle for independence, the colonial history and the political development of Tanzania. Tour Natural History Museum located on Boma road. The focus of this museum is the evolution of Man Kind. Within the museum you can also get to know more about natural science research, the discovery of fossils found within the Olduvai Gorge. After Lunch visit the famous United African Alliance Community Center ran by Pete and Charlotte O'neal Black Panther Activist. Donate School Supplies to the children in the community. DAY 4 SUNDAY NOV 23 NGORONGOR NATIONAL PARK – MOUNT MERU

9 AM Experience Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino) www.ncaa.go.tz. DAY 5 MONDAY NOV 24 TANZANITE EXPERIENCE - ARUSHA CULTURE CENTER - SHOPPING - LEISURE

9 AM Tanzanite Experience of Precious Gem Museum Tour & Presentation. www.tanzaniteexperience.com/tanzanite-museum. This day is also perfect for shopping and leisure. Visit the Cultural Heritage Center established in the year 1994. Is the first of its kind in Africa dedicated towards exploring the rich treasures derived from African Culture. DAY 6 TUESDAY NOV 25 ARUSHA to ZANZIBAR ISLAND - KENDWA BEACH

Last day in Arusha, prepare for flight to Zanzibar Island. Early wakeup call at 6:00 AM with baggage pickup. Check out of hotel by 6:45 AM. Depart at 7:00 AM for a 20 mins drive to Arusha Airport for a 9:25 AM Departure on Precision Air flight # PW 511 and arrive at Zanzibar International Airport at 10:45 AM. Transfer for a 75 mins drive to the North West side of the island to Kendwa. Enjoy the beautiful getaway setup at the tropical paradise Sunset Kendwa Resort. DAY 7 WEDNESDAY NOV 26 ZANZIBAR ISLAND – STONE TOWN CITY TOUR – AFRICAN HOLOCAUST and ARAB SLAVE TRADE

8 AM departure for 1-hour drive to Stone Town for a city tour. Visit the old 17th-century fort with souvenir vendors. Tour the House of Wonders (Beit Al Ajaib) one-time Sultan’s Palace & Gardens. Tour People Palace Museum, which is a 19th-century palace with exhibitions on the history of Khalifa, bin Harub's Sultanate. Forodhani Gardens Food Market area. East Africa Slave Trade Exhibit including the Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral. Final shopping then depart Stone Town for a 1-hour drive back to Nungwi. DAY 8 THURDAY NOV 27 ZANZIBAR ISLAND – BEACH ACTIVITIES

DAY 9 FRIDAY NOV 28 ZANZIBAR ISLAND to DAR ES SALAAM 

Check out of hotel by 10:00 AM for a 1-hour drive to Stone Town ferryboat station for a 12:30 PM departure to Dar es Salaam ferryboat station. Arrive at 2:15 PM. Then depart for hotel check in. Afternoon lunch, shopping and Leisure. Dinner and various nightlife options. DAY 10 SATURDAY NOV 29 DAR ES SALAAM CITY TOUR

9 AM departure for full day out for a city tour of the city Dar Es Salaam. This will also include the National Museum, Arts & Frame Gallery and Village Museum. Dinner and various nightlife options. DAY 11 SUNDAY NOV 30 DAR ES SALAAM to NAIROBI to NEW YORK CITY

Final day. Check out of your room by 12 PM and move all bags to the designated departure location. This afternoon is perfect for final shopping, leisure and more. Dinner at 4 PM Then depart for a 45 minutes’ drive to Julius Nyerere International Airport for an 8:45 PM departure on Kenya Airlines flight # KQ 487 to Nairobi, Kenya and arrive at 10:05 PM. Transfer to Kenya Airline Flight # KQ 002 at 11:35 to JFK New York City and arrive at 6:35 AM.

 

DAY 12 MONDAY DEC 1 NEW YORK CITY to ATLANTA

8:30 AM Departure for Atlanta on Delta Airlines flight # DL1427 and arrive at 11:10 AM at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
